Formerly Independent Order of Odd Fellows (Wildey Lodge) Cemetery the flagpole and bricks used in the monument are from the Hughson Hotel built in 1913 by Luella Hughson. This modern hotel had a 36 foot redwood flagpole where the American Flag was flown every day. The Hughson Hotel was torn down in 1998.
