Even
though the spirit of absurdity is so cherished in our organization and
we are dedicated to the care and protection of the widders and the orphans,
Clampers hold a keen interest in the Old West. E Clampus Vitus, although
ancient in origin, reached it's peak in the tumultuous days the California
Gold Rush. The latter day members of this organization attempt to
hold these traditions of fellowship, good spirits, history and fun.
This portion of the web site is dedicated to those days with pictures of
plaques and monuments placed by our most ancient and honorable order.
